This cable meets or exceeds the requirements of EIA/TIA SP2840A. 24 AWG solid bare copper conductor. Polyethylene insulation, diameter 1.2mm maximum. 2 insulated conductors twisted together, lays varied to minimise crosstalk. 4 pairs twisted together with a polyester core wrap applied. Screened by way of an aluminium polyester tape and 0.5mm tinned copper drain wire.
