The Composite Support insulators are used to provide support to the Outdoor Cable Terminations rated up to 36kV. The insulator consists of a fiberglass core covered with weather resistance polymeric sheded sleeve and aluminium caps at both ends. These insulators are light in weight as compared to the Porcelain Insulators. The Composite Insulator design offers significant advantages like better performance in highly polluted environment, resistance to chemicals and UV radiation and are Vandal-Proof.
